Joseph's Fundraiser Products

This is pretty much a part two to Passing the Fishing Rod.  My son will be making earrings, paintings, and maybe a necklace or two.  And this blog post  is where we will keep a running selection of his products you can buy.

If you see the picture on this blog post then it is still available.  Please note that some of his earrings will be One-Of-A-Kind, and others will be Re-producible, meaning he can make more than one of the same style/pattern/ colors.

As a reminder, Joseph is making and selling these pieces of art to help him raise money to attend a Cub Scout Camp in June, and a Soccer camp in the fall.  See the Nautical Image above for pricing.  To pay please either Facebook Private Message me personally, or email me at sandglassesdesign@gmail.com to get our pay pal information.

Preparing for our Booth

Okay, so this is my first ever time to do a craft show where people will come to my booth.  I have been to many craft shows, vending opps, and other such activities with booths, and people selling their hand goods.

After reading lots of blog articles and Pinterest lists, I have been slowly making a list for myself of things to prepare for my shared booth for the craft show.

  • Bowl for mix n match bracelets
  • Bowl for scarf scrunchies
  • Earring Stands
  • Necklaces Stands
  • Raffel Jar and paper scraps
  • Painting sections, with clip board for orders
  • Box or Bowl for Chocolates
  • Hand Painted sign
  • Sea Shells
  • Sand (?)
  • Sun Glasses
  • Business cards
  • Business Card holder
  • Table Cloth
  • Chairs
  • tape, safety pins, money
My lists just keep getting longer and a little more chaotic, but some how its keeping me organized

  • Earrings (one of a kind)
  • Earrings (reproducible)
  • Bracelets (mix n match)
  • Bracelets (braided)
  • Necklaces (one of a kind)
  • Scarf Scrunchies (mix n match)

  • Paintings (reproducible for orders)
  • Paintings (framed) (black frames, white frames)

Have you ever done a craft show?  Have you ever been to a craft show?  What was it about the booth set up or decorations that drew you into their items?

Valentine Charms

I had a good chunk of time on my hands the other day, and I chose to do the sensible thing anyone in my shoes would do.  With my sink and counter full of dirty dishes, and a house that needs a bit of cleaning up, it was only logical to get to work.  So after 3 hours of working my heart out, having fun, and feeling accomplished I stopped when my family asked for dinner.  It was then that I looked down and saw that I had created 9 sets of amazing earrings, and 4 charm bracelets.  Yes, I chose to be creative than to clean my house...but don't worry my house is now in order once again.

Check out my charm bracelets I think they're perfect for anyone's Valentine.  Best of all, you can say "I love you" any time of the year!  These are on my Etsy shop! Enjoy~

Minting those Winter Blues

I'm so excited about my first matching set of jewelry created and put up on my shop.  I had been thinking about the colors for 2 weeks before putting everything together.  I love the scalloped lace collar feel this statement necklace gives.  The dangling pearls off to the side of the necklace would be so fun to play with when day dreaming, waiting in line at the store, or talking to friends over a nice cup of tea.  The bracelets are super fun, you can wear just one, or both which ever order you like.  They are super cute for women of all ages!  And the earrings...these took forever to show me how to create them.  but I love the design.  Fun, simple, unique, dangling, light, and you get a little ping every now and then as the pearls hit each other...don't worry they won't break unless they're smashed or something crazy.

Enjoy my pictures, I had so much fun making this!
